VGV Going Digital Project
Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) is moving from largely paper-based processes to a fully digital information management system.
VGV’s Going Digital Project will implement a fully digital centralised valuation request system, which will increase efficiency, reduce manual records handling and improve information security – delivering a single source of truth for all stakeholders.
The new system will make it easier to manage valuation information and related requests. It will be a crucial element of the government valuations process, and VGV’s role as the sole valuation authority that conducts annual valuations of all land in Victoria’s 79 municipalities for rating and taxation purposes.
VGV wants feedback from all stakeholders at various stages during design and development of the new system. A survey request will be sent to stakeholders in February 2019 to help us better understand your needs and receive expression of interest about providing feedback on the new system,

Survey requests will be sent to stakeholders in April and May to help us better understand your needs and invite you to join VVP focus groups to provide feedback on the system.
