Valuer-General Victoria (VGV) is moving from largely paper-based processes to a fully digital valuation request system.
VGV’s Going Digital Project will implement a fully digital centralised valuation request system, which will increase efficiency, reduce manual records handling and improve information security – delivering benefits to all stakeholders.
The new system will make it easier to manage valuation information and related requests. It will be a crucial element of the government valuations process and VGV’s role as the valuation authority that conducts annual valuations for rating and taxation purposes in Victoria.
