To view, open and add data to Land Use Victoria forms, a working version of Acrobat Reader is required.  

Many recent browser versions include their own PDF plug-ins that automatically replace the Acrobat Reader plug-in , this may result in a failure when opening Land Use Victoria forms.  Often the failure message a user receives is:

Operating in Windows: Browser Firefox / Chrome / Safari

  1. ‘Right click’ on the Open Form button and save the form onto your computer. Depending on your browser setting the save as function may be labelled ‘Save link as’.
  2. Using 'Windows Explorer' or file search, locate the form saved on your computer and open using Adobe Reader.

Operating a Mac: Browser Firefox / Chrome / Safari

  1. Perform a ‘Right click’ on the Open Form button and save the form onto your computer. Depending on your browser setting the save as function may be labelled ‘Save link as’.
  2. Using 'Finder' or file search, locate the form saved on your computer* and and perform a ‘Right click’ action and from the options select ‘Open file with’ > Adobe Reader.
  3. *It is essential that the form is located and opened from 'Finder' or file search and not from the bottom left corner of the browser Firefox/Chrome/Safari.  Opening the form from these browsers will result in the same failure.
